How does the commercial edition differ from open source?

The open-source edition provides frontend engineering and basic admin features for getting started. The commercial edition adds a complete frontend and backend solution, product-level design, performance improvements, themes, professional dashboards, large-screen templates, RBAC, business modules, deployment docs, and client-delivery licensing to reduce repeated work.

What technology stack does the Java edition use?

The backend uses Java 21, Spring Boot, MyBatis-Plus, MySQL, and Redis in a Maven multi-module project. Flowable is embedded for approvals, Flyway manages database migrations, and deployment supports Docker and JAR packages.

What are the limits of commerce and file storage?

Commerce includes administration and transaction modules, but no separate consumer app or tenant- or department-level data isolation. Online payments require your own merchant configuration and callback domain. Files support local storage, Alibaba Cloud OSS, and MinIO; MinIO requires adapting frontend storage labels and filters.

Is it suitable for client demos?

Yes. Dashboards, business pages, themes, and animations let you demonstrate a realistic system with clear hierarchy, module organization, and permissions. Adapt themes and page entries to your client’s industry.

What can the Advanced Theme Designer customize?

Does the Java edition include an AI code generator?

No. The Java edition provides a streaming AI chat assistant with configurable model services. It does not include developer-tool modules or an AI code generator. The assistant does not execute business operations, read business tables, or persist chat history.

The Java repository includes AGENTS.md, product scope, architecture notes, and development skills to give Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and similar tools context about the architecture, conventions, design system, and business constraints. This supports more consistent assistance with requirements, code generation, feature development, refactoring, interface design, and documentation.
